Where to start – how to become a driver

Learning to drive

We’ll explain in three steps what it looks like to get driving privileges

You must go to the communications department and provide the necessary documents.

The Driver Candidate Profile is a set of data and information identifying and describing a person applying for a document stating the right to drive, generated, shared, updated and archived in an ICT system.

Each Driver Candidate Profile (PKK for short) generated at the communications department has its own unique number. The PKK number is invariable throughout the entire process of handling the profile, even when a person changes data such as place of residence. A separate PKK is generated for each category. If an application for two categories is submitted to the communications department, two independent PKKs will be generated, each with a unique number.

The PKK number obtained is necessary for the candidate driver to enroll in training as well as to enroll in the state examination at the Provincial Traffic Center.

The number of each PKK is a sequence of encoded information according to an established algorithm, which is designed to eliminate confusion when transcribing the number, for example, at a training center or examination center.

What to take care of before you sign up for a driving course?
